Job description :

We are hiring an organized, tech-savvy Office Administrator to execute day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing and documentation, while leveraging Python programming skills to streamline and automate office processes. This role also supports dispatching activities and assists with coordinating fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform general office administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Develop and maintain filing systems to ensure organization and easy retrieval of documents.
  • Utilize Python to automate repetitive administrative tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Assist in transforming manual paperwork processes into digital workflows.
  • Handle dispatching duties, including scheduling and coordinating deliveries and pickups.
  • Communicate with drivers to provide instructions and updates.
  • Monitor and track the status of deliveries to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch and administrative activities.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience as an Office Administrator, Administrative Assistant, or similar role, preferably in the trucking or logistics industry.
  • Proficiency in Python programming with a strong understanding of automation tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge in database management and SQL is preferred.
  • Familiarity with dispatching processes and logistics operations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and office management software.
  • Job Type : 12-month contract to cover a maternity leave

    Salary : Starting at CA$40,000 plus bonus based performance

    Schedule : Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm

    Location : In office (Mississauga)
