Are you ready to shape the future of healthcare design? We’re seeking a talented and experienced Healthcare Architect to join our growing team in Halifax, NS. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed architect passionate about creating patient-centered environments that meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and sustainability. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative healthcare facilities that improve lives and communities.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Design and plan healthcare facilities including hospitals, clinics, and medical offices in compliance with healthcare codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, engineers, and stakeholders to create efficient, patient-focused spaces.
  • Manage projects from concept through construction and post-occupancy evaluation.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Coordinate with contractors and consultants to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Stay current with healthcare regulations, sustainability practices, and design trends.


What your experience looks like

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Architect with 5+ years of experience in healthcare facility design.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare building codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Bilingual (English/French) preferred.


This job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.


The salary range for this role is between $115K - $140K. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
