We are recruiting for a number of Early Learning Facilitator Student s . This position supports both the OAP Entry to School and   EarlyON  Child and Family Centre programs  operated  by Empower Simcoe.   Using a child and family centred, collaborative approach to service delivery, this role prepares children with an ASD diagnosis to transition successfully to school.   To support the child to experience success in a classroom environment by providing opportunities and teaching that build skills that   optimize   school success. To contribute to the development of an Integrated Individual Education and Family Service Plan that is reflective of the families ' visions and goals and is inclusive of all Early Intervention partners working with  the child .   Working as part of a team,   being responsible for   the daily operation of our   EarlyON   Child and Family   Centres and / or Satellite Centres.   This includes providing   age-appropriate   programming for children age 0 - 6 and parent education, including workshops, information and developmental screening and resources.

This is a full-time position starting as soon as April 20, 2026, for approximately 4-5 months. This position works up to 37.5 hours biweekly with an hourly rate of pay of $21.43. Please note that this position is contingent upon funding approval through the Federal Government Canada Summer Jobs program.

Minimum  requirements of this position include :

• Completion of secondary school and enrolled in post-secondary education in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
• Previous experience working with young children with an autism spectrum disorder, is preferred; mediator experience an asset.
• Current valid certificates in First Aid, CPR, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (N.V.C.I) and medication dispensing or successful completion of a recognized pharmacology course.
• Current valid driver's licence and own reliable transportation to be used in the course of employment.
