Wood is currently seeking an expression of interest for upcoming Senior Mechanical Engineering opportunity for our Oil, Gas and New Energies business focusing on delivering some of the biggest and most complex projects in the Canadian oilsands. This opportunity is hybrid.

The Role

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in our office based in Sarnia, Ontario. Reporting to the Manager of Mechanical Department, the role supports Wood's future and ongoing projects. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for developing and updating mechanical specifications, technical documentation, and equipment data sheets, as well as managing RFQs and evaluating supplier bids. This role will provide technical assessments and support decision-making throughout the mechanical engineering process.

• Competitive salary with regular salary reviews to ensure we are rewarding at the right level in line with the market. Salary range for this position is $107,000 CAD to $150,000 CAD. Final salary will be based on relevant and applicable experience, education, and the specific skill set and qualifications required for the role.
