Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications to meet functional and technical requirements.
• Write optimized, reusable, and scalable Java code using OOP best practices.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Implement and execute unit testing to validate application modules.
• Leverage frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Java EE to accelerate development.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs to facilitate secure data exchange across applications.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
• Use Git, Maven, Docker, and GCP for version control, build management, containerization, and deployment.
• Implement security best practices to protect applications and comply with standards.
• Set up and manage Jenkins pipelines for CI / CD and automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Install, configure, and upgrade PostgreSQL databases on Windows, Linux, and AWS platforms.
• Design database schemas, tables, views, indexes, and perform query optimization.
• Administer and troubleshoot Unix / Linux environments, automate tasks, and ensure system availability.
