Quelques projets phares sur lesquels nos équipes de Parsons Québec travaillent:

• Nouveau lien interrives entre Québec et Lévis
• Réfection majeure du tunnel Louis-H.-La Fontaine.
• Aménagements temporaires pour la reconstruction du pont de l’Île-aux-Tourtes.
• Reconstruction de la section 3 de l’autoroute Gardiner dans la région de Toronto.

Actuellement, l’équipe d’infrastructures de transport est à la recherche d'un(e) Technicien(ne) senior en conception routière pour se joindre à notre bureau de Montréal ou de Québec.

Idéalement vous avez :

• Un diplôme de technicien en génie civil ou en architecture
• Plus de 8 ans d’expérience en conception d’infrastructures routières.
• Maîtrise d'AutoCAD et/ou MicroStation pour le dessin et d’InRoads ou OpenRoads pour la modélisation 3D des routes.
• Bonne connaissance des normes du ministère des Transports du Québec et de la Mobilité durable (MTMD).
• Bonne connaissance des normes de l'Association des transports du Canada (ATC).
• Maîtrise des logiciels MS Office.
• Connaissance de la plateforme ProjectWise est un atout.
• Bonne connaissance des langues française et anglaise, à l’oral et à l’écrit.

Avec nous, vous pouvez :

• Concevoir des géométries de projets routiers en 3D en utilisant le logiciel OpenRoads.
• Réaliser des plans d’infrastructure routière en 2D.
• Générer des sections en travers et faire des calculs de volumes.
• Produire les listes de points pour la construction.
• Travailler en coordination avec l’équipe d’ingénieurs ainsi qu’avec les autres disciplines pour assurer un travail cohérent.

Langue de travail pour les postes situés en permanence au Québec

La connaissance du français est requise pour les postes situés en permanence au Québec afin que le titulaire puisse communiquer au besoin avec ses collègues et partenaires au Québec. Une formation en français est offerte à tout titulaire d’un poste permanent au Québec qui ne possède pas une bonne connaissance du français.

Autre exigence linguistique

La maîtrise de l’anglais est requise pour ce poste afin de communiquer avec les collègues, les clients et les partenaires (ou les fournisseurs) situés à l’extérieur du Québec, et de comprendre la documentation technique et scientifique disponible dans le domaine de notre industrie.

Currently, the transportation infrastructure team is looking for a Highway and Roadway Design Senior Technologist to join our Montreal or Quebec City office.

Ideally, you have:

• A diploma as a civil engineering or architecture technician.
• Over 8 years of experience in roadway infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation for drafting, and in InRoads or OpenRoads for 3D road modeling.
• Good knowledge of the standards of the Quebec Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (MTMD).
• Good knowledge of the standards of the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC).
• Proficiency in MS Office software.
• Knowledge of the ProjectWise platform is an asset.
• Good proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.

• Design roadway project geometries in 3D using OpenRoads software.
• Create 2D roadway infrastructure plans.
• Generate cross-sections and perform volume calculations.
• Produce point lists for construction.
• Work in coordination with the engineering team as well as other disciplines to ensure cohesive work.

Language of Work for Positions Permanently Located in Quebec

Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so that the holder can communicate as needed with colleagues and partners in Quebec. French language training is offered to any holder of a permanent position in Quebec who does not have a good knowledge of French.

Other Language Requirement

Proficiency in English is required for this position in order to communicate with colleagues, clients, and partners (or suppliers) located outside of Quebec, and to understand the technical and scientific documentation available in our industry.
