Electromechanical Technician

Purpose of the position

The incumbent of this position is responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair and follow-up of the company's production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair production and building equipment for the company
• Coordinate and manage external expertise services (electromechanical subcontractors)
• Request and order spare parts
• Provide support to production and ensure the production line is always operational
• Update task documentation
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines
• Manage the maintenance schedule
• Comply with health and safety regulations (OHS)
• Perform any other related tasks

Job Requirements

Education Requirements

• DVS in Electromechanics (any equivalent combination of relevant training will be considered)

Technical Skills

• 5 années d’expérience dans l’entretien mécanique/électrique et la réparation d’équipements;
• Entretien de machine contrôle numérique (un atout);
• Excellent proficiency in French (spoken and written). Knowledge of English is considered an asset
