Technical Architect - Batch Processing

Technical Expertise

• 10+ years of experience as an Application / Technical Architect , with a strong focus on batch job architecture, design, and optimization
• Proven ability to design, refactor, and modernize complex batch ecosystems for scalability, fault tolerance, and performance
• Strong experience defining batch frameworks, architectural standards, and governance models for large-scale applications
• Hands‑on proficiency with batch job technology stack , including :
• Java
• Shell scripting
• Extensive experience with enterprise job scheduling tools such as Autosys, Control‑M , or equivalent
• Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle databases , including performance tuning and optimization strategies
• Solid understanding of file I / O analysis , performance profiling, exception handling, and recovery mechanisms in batch environments
• Knowledge of capacity planning , resource optimization, and high‑availability / resiliency strategies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead technical workshops , architecture reviews, and solution design sessions
• Proven experience mentoring and guiding development teams
• Strong documentation and presentation skills , able to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders
