We do not believe in billing by the hour and expect that everyone will contribute to providing value to our clients.

About the Role

As a full-time Experienced Accounting Technician / Bookkeeper , you will be an essential part of our team by ensuring that our clients’ experience is delivered properly, professionally and on time.

• Location - This role does not allow remote work. You will need access to transportation as Halton Hills (Georgetown) does not have a public transit system (Bus).
• Accounting - You will support our clients by performing monthly accounting and reconciliations in a web-based environment (QBO / Xero), processing payroll (Wagepoint), following up with clients, filing GST / HST, etc., and printing custom reports for our clients.
• Professional Judgement -You will use your experience to help process transaction postings, eligibility and answer basic compliance related questions.
• Support - You will quickly learn the systems we use on a daily basis to offer high-quality service and support to both our clients and our team.
• Documentation - You will develop, enhance, and review both internal and external documentation so everyone is kept in the loop.
• Future Mentor - There is room to grow in this role. We hope you will want to act as a mentor to new team members and continue to be an integral part of process and workflow improvements at GBA.
• Salary Range - $48,000 - $60,000 per year.
