Job descriptionDangerous At heights Outdoors Various locations Trim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, vista pruning Survey and assess designated sites Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care products Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutions Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease Tree removal Operate chainsaw to fell, delimb and buck trees Plant knowledge and identification Valid driver's licence Attention to detail Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Manual dexterity Combination of sitting, standing, walking Standing for extended periods Bending, crouching, kneeling Steel-toed safety boots Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Organized Reliability Team player Group insurance benefits Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) Entry level Full-time Management and Manufacturing Paper and Forest Product Manufacturing
