Located out of our Cochrane Extraction Plant site, the individual in the Groundskeeper Summer Student role will report to the Manager, CEP Maintenance & Reliability.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

• Mowing the grass throughout the facility
• Raking grass, leaves, and branches
• Planting flowers, picking weeds, and spreading mulch
• Sweeping sidewalks
• Pruning trees
• Picking garbage
• Various string-trimming detail work
• Any other work associated with general appearance and upkeep of the ‘non-process area’ of the Cochrane Extraction Plant

Education, Skills and Experience

Hours : Full-time temporary anticipated to start early May 2026 until late August 2026.

As this position is identified as safety and security sensitive, employment of a final candidate will be conditional upon completion of pre-employment medical, drug / alcohol, employment verification and criminal background check assessments with satisfactory results.
