Our client, a leading company in trading of metal, mineral resources, and other industries, is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Inside Sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales and supply chain management, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.
Job Type : Permanent, Hybrid.

Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage plate and infrastructure-related business operations.
- Expand the electrical steel sheet business in collaboration with partners.
- Promote new business opportunities in eastern Canada.
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels with Mitsui Tokyo and other offshore offices.
- Research new products and methods for assessing potential clients and expanding existing clientele.
- Assist the DGM and GM, and work closely with the sales admin team on various projects and tasks.
- Support management by preparing data materials and contributing to new project assignments.
- Organize and conduct periodic business meetings with customers.
Qualifications and Skills :
University degree specializing in commerce or sales preferred.Proven experience in sales, ideally within the steel or related industry.Basic understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client and supplier locations.Multitasking abilities and a high degree of organizational skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in a similar role within the steel industry.Knowledge of international trade regulations and export processes.Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
