Our fantastic client is looking for a  Skilled Labourer – Technician to join their overhead door team in Fort St. John, BC. This person will appreciate hands on work and have experience in skilled trades such as carpentry, electrical, as a millwright, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities :

The key job functions are :

  • Handling assigned service locations
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and making repairs
  • Selling parts
  • Completing service paperwork
  • Answering customer inquiries by providing technical support and product education
  • Working on call as required / scheduled

Qualifications :

  • Valid class license with a -year clean driver’s abstract
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting lbs overhead repeatedly
  • Comfortable working at heights up to feet and climbing ladders up to feet
  • Valid first aid, aerial work platform, and fall arrest are an asset
  • Experience :

  • Previous experience in a related role or skilled trades (carpentry, electrician, millwright, etc.) is required
  • Skills :

  • Ability to follow directions and standard operating procedures
  • Mechanically inclined with knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Driven and eager to learn
  • Hard working with a “can do” attitude
  • Reliable and loyal
  • Team player
  • Punctual with good time management
  • Base Salary :   $ – per hour
