Housekeeping

Medieval Times is looking for HOUSEKEEPING team members to assist with the cleaning of our 60,000 square foot building.

Job Duties:

• Services, cleans and restocks supplies in restrooms
• Gathers and empties trash
• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment; mixes cleaning solutions according to specifications
• Strips, seals, finishes and polishes floors as needed
• Notifies maintenance manager concerning the need for repairs
• Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
• Cleans windows, glass partitions and mirrors as needed
• Steam-cleans or shampoos carpets and remove stains
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures
• Dusts furniture, walls, machines and equipment as needed
• Performs additional duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Requires repetitive movement and/or bending, twisting
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to use hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls
• Able to communicate with Team Members
• Able to work in small spaces and at higher levels
• May be exposed to chemicals in performing general duties
• Requires work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1 -2 years housekeeping experience

PAY RATE FOR THIS POSITION IS $18.90/HOUR. AI IS NOT BEING USED TO SCREEN APPLICANTS. THIS POSITION IS OPEN DUE TO AN EXISTING VACANCY.
