2025 / 26 Winter Term, Course-Based Contract Opportunity – Faculty of Education

The Faculty of Education is seeking qualified Contract Academic Staff (CAS) to teach half of the Sexual Health Education course on campus in the 2025-26 Winter Term in the Department of Physical Education Studies. The course topics to be covered are listed below. Qualifications : Applicants must hold a Master’s degree, and those holding a Ph.D. or who are at the ABD stage may be preferred. Applicants may seek to establish an experiential / traditional equivalency to the Master’s and are invited to contact the Chair of the Selection Committee on how to establish equivalent academic or professional credentials.

Salary : $5,238.00 per 2 credit hour course.

05.371 – Sexual Health Education – (Mon / Wed 1 : 40pm – 3 : 00pm)

From February 23 – April 22, 2026

This course will require students to identify their own values and attitudes as they relate to sexual health, gain knowledge related to sexual health and identify issues surrounding program implementation and evaluation.

• Diversity, Equity, Law and Human Rights
• Privilege, Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation
• Media : Bullying, Sexting / Pornography, Privacy
• Student Disclosures / Mental Health
• SHE for those with Physical Disabilities
