Who we are :

The Transportation Operations team at the Region of Peel is responsible for managing and improving traffic flow safety and transportation infrastructure within Peel Region. Our work supports safe and efficient travel for all road users through activities such as traffic signal management sign and pavement markings road safety initiatives implementation of traffic calming measures and the coordination of construction projects to minimize their impact on the transportation network.

The Role :

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Assistant to join our Traffic Operations & Safety team. Reporting to the Traffic Operations & Safety Supervisor you will play a key role in supporting road safety initiatives by analyzing collision data and providing essential technical and administrative support to staff and stakeholders to enhance our road safety initiatives.

Work Mode & Job Location : In this role youll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement. This means youll have the ability to work off-site and on-site as needed depending on operational needs at the 10 Peel Centre Drive Brampton worksite. The frequency of on-site work may vary from week to week depending on operational demands which can evolve over time.

Its important to note that your off-site work location must be within the province of Ontario. This ensures that were compliant with all regulations and policies.
