McCain Fertilizer, a Division of McCain Produce Inc, is a leading distributor of crop inputs, including blended fertilizer, crop protection products and other related inputs, with multiple locations in Atlantic Canada and the State of Maine. We are seeking a results-oriented team player to join us as a Sales Representative in our New Perth, PEI Territory. The successful candidate will focus on selling fertilizers and crop protection products, building strong relationships within the farming community, and providing technical support to support sustainable agricultural practices. What you’ll be doing

• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts; identify opportunities to maximize sales growth and profitability
• Drive business development initiatives to expand customer base, increase sales volume, and improve quality of business relationships
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both existing and prospective clients
• Provide technical agronomic support, product recommendations, and guidance on best management practices
• Create and maintain all records and reports necessary for effectively manage the business
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (marketing, logistics, operations) to coordinate order fulfillment and resolve client issues
• Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and crop trends to inform sales strategies and customer outreach
• Support and promote safe working practices in compliance with McCain’s safety standards and relevant provincial legislation
• Participate in product training sessions, trade shows, or community agricultural events as a McCain Fertilizer ambassador
