Interim CASA Classroom Teacher

The Golden Hills School Division invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Interim CASA Classroom teacher in Strathmore AB for the 202 6 / 202 7 school year.

The CASA (Child and Adolescent Services Assessment) Classroom Program is a treatment-oriented program that is a collaboration between Alberta Health Services CASA and school divisions. Golden Hills is hiring a teacher to join a multidisciplinary team that will support the mental health needs of students in a school environment.

Qualifications should include :

• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
• Effective organization and classroom management skills
• Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe supported and challenged
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and / or instruction
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
• Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice
