Term Contract : start December 2025

POSITION PURPOSE
The Senior Coordinator position is a critical role in the workflow process for show delivery. The Coordinator will act as a liaison between the Production Manager and Department Teams to flag any issues which may delay workflow or shot delivery. They will promote interdepartmental communication to expedite completion. They will be on the pulse of all shots within their department and will communicate status report updates to the Production Manager when required.
The Senior Coordinator will mentor more junior Coordinators with regards to best practices to increase continuity across shows and departments. It is expected that a Senior Coordinator will take initiative for other duties and responsibilities when required.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide ongoing support to ensure the highest productivity of the artistsOrganize internal department meetings and show review sessionsTake and distribute detailed meeting notes via Shotgrid, and understand the impact of notes as it relates to the team and schedule.Work with the Production Manager and Supervisors to adhere to schedule and keep schedules and artists on trackAble to generate task schedules based on milestones provided across multiple departmentsAssist the Production Manager in Management of shot MilestonesHave substantial knowledge of the pipeline to understand general show / shot requirements and dependencies. Be able to use that experience and knowledge towards maintaining feasible schedules and working with the creatives productively (leads and supes).Track the status of all shots in the pipeline, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date database in ShotgridCommunicate successes and challenges faced by the team to the Production Manager, providing updates on team moraleDeliver reports as requested by Production Managers or ProducerAbility to confidently move from team to team (within a show or between shows) and maintain a high level of performanceEnsure artists have the information and materials required to complete their work efficientlyMentor new coordinators and advise and guide current coordinators on IEs best production practicesFacilitate communication between all departmentsFollow up on any outstanding issues or concerns that may arise during a ProductionEnsure all email & remote chat correspondence is up to date, responding to emails & messages in a timely mannerWork with the Supervisors and artists to manage render prioritiesProvide support to new coordinators and PAsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
3+ years of solid production experience coordinating feature film or TVMust be an expert project coordinator / schedulerMust be extremely knowledgeable in database management and production workflow processSKILLS AND ABILITIES
