• Conducting daily monitoring of hospitalized patients and / or outpatient care, updating notes and keeping record of decisions in case management computer system.
• Secure Medical Consultants or Registered Nurses assessment of medical information.
• Provide approvals for defined procedures and follow-ups or liaises with medical team as required.
• Liaise with the patient and / or family regarding benefit information, itinerary, technical benefits and arrangements for the case.
• Review the clients policy and investigate the file to determine most appropriate course of action.
• Make billing arrangements (incl. coverage letters etc.) and obtain updated bill amounts.
• Coordinate the repatriation of the client, along-side the Transportation Services team.
