Brant Safe Bed Program, Mental Health Worker (Days)
Position : Full-Time, (12 Month Contract - Until January 30th, 2027)
Base Location : Brantford
Start Date : ASAP
Hours of Work : 3-4 shifts (12 hour shifts) per week
Wage Rate : as per CBA
This position works out of our Brant Safe Bed Program location at 84 Brant Avenue in Brantford and provides support to persons experiencing acute mental health crisis, in a residential setting utilizing a Psychosocial Rehabilitation & Recovery model. Reliable transportation is required. A full job description is available upon request. Work shifts are typically between the hours of 8 : 00am-8 : 00pm and 8 : 30am-8 : 30pm and involves regular rotation through weekend shifts (presently every 2nd weekend).
A post-secondary diploma in the Social Services field is required, with a demonstrated familiarity and understanding of Brant, Haldimand & Norfolk mental health & addiction services.
