What We Offer :

  • Flexible Scheduling : Teach during our core hours of Mon-Fri 4-8 pm and Sat 10 am-2 pm. Online tutoring options are also available!
  • Supportive Environment : Work with a team committed to helping you succeed and grow professionally.
  • No Prep Work : Focus solely on teaching – we provide all the materials you need.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Subject Expertise : Proficiency in Math, Physics, and Chemistry for high school students (grades 9-12).
  • Strong Communication Skills : The ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Friendly and Cooperative Attitude : Be approachable and engaging, with the ability to manage multiple students simultaneously.
  • Experience : At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
  • Location : Based in York Region for in-person classes, though online options are available.
  • Your Role :

  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring, utilizing materials provided by us.
  • Engage with students, grading their work and offering insightful feedback.

    About Scholars Learning Centre Inc. :

    Scholars Education Centre provides in-centre tutoring services for all subjects to students from JK to grade 12. It employs competent Ontario Certified Teachers to teach in small student-to-teacher ratios and relies on its mastery criteria program to help enhance students' competencies and knowledge.
