Accounting Technician — Accounts Payable

Our client is looking for an experienced accounting technician to support its team in a corporate and professional environment.

YOUR ROLE:
As an Accounting Technician, your duties will include:
Maintaining and managing accounts payable;
Assisting in the preparation and processing of payroll;
Contributing to month-end process and budget monitoring;
Reviewing and validating account statements;
Collaborating with the team to ensure accurate billing and effective follow-up on accounts receivable;
Executing standard and corrective accounting entries;
Entering expense reports into the internal accounting system;
Assisting in the preparation of government reports and statutory filings.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
DEC or AEC in accounting or equivalent training;
Experience in a similar role in a professional service environment;
Fluency in spoken and written French;
Intermediate level of written and spoken English;
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software;
Thoroughness, resourcefulness, organizational skills and autonomy;
Team spirit and good interpersonal skills.
