Our client requires a DevOps Specialist to lead and manage the implementation of large-scale enterprise platforms, products and services. The DevOps Specialist will proactively monitor and resolves performance and security issues, continuously upgrading infrastructure and technologies to reduce technical debt and address potential vulnerabilities, and maintaining DevOps processes, artifacts, and documentation.

Work is remote.

Edmonton, Alberta (Remote within Canada)

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (8 years with a Bachelor’s degree or 10 years with a Diploma)
• 5 years’ experience with Azure RedHat OpenShift.
• 5 years’ experience with BuildMaster
• 2 years’ experience with Cloud-Based and mobile application development
• 5 years’ experience with Disaster Recovery architectures, processes and tests
• 5 years’ experience with performance monitoring and troubleshooting
• 5 years’ experience with replicating environments (either manually or through Infrastructure as code)
• 5 years’ experience with scaling services through either horizontal or vertical scaling techniques
• 5 years’ experience with VM sizing based on needs and performance testing
• 2 years’ experience working as a DevOps Specialist on large-scale agile enterprise projects with 15 or more team members.
• 2 years’ experience working on the same enterprise Agile development teams
