About Our Family :
We are an active, health-conscious family looking for a compassionate and energetic caregiver to support our smart, curious, and vibrant 8-year-old daughter. She is currently recovering from a concussion and is unable to attend school full-time.
Our household is a busy, multi-generational home—grandparents live on-site, and Mom works remotely from home. We are looking for someone who can seamlessly integrate into our environment while providing our daughter with the dedicated engagement she needs to thrive during her recovery.
The Role & Responsibilities :
The primary focus of this position is to provide light academic support as her symptoms allow.
Childcare & Recovery Support : Facilitate gentle activities that she can tolerate (arts and crafts, drawing, puzzles, and cooking or baking).
Educational Guidance : Help her stay on track with school assignments, including math, reading, and writing, as her headache levels permit.
Symptom Management : Monitor her energy levels and pivot activities if she experiences discomfort. Light exercise is fine.
Household Support : When our daughter is at school or otherwise engaged, a proactive approach to housekeeping and organization (tidying toys, making beds, folding laundry, etc.).
Our Ideal Candidate :
We are seeking an experienced caregiver or Early Childhood Educator (ECE) / homeschooling experience, who is passionate about child development and possesses the following :
