Housekeeper Wanted - Mother’s Helper/ Household Support (Part Time, 2 Days/Wk)

Hi! We’re a busy, organized family in Calgary looking for a warm, reliable person to help keep our home running smoothly during the week. Our kids are in school full-time, so this role is mainly household support during the day.

We’re looking for someone who is confident managing tasks independently, takes initiative, and enjoys creating a calm, tidy home.

Schedule

• 1–2 days per week (ideally 2)
• Monday–Thursday only (no Fridays)
• 4–5 hours per day
• Start date : late January 2026

Weekly Tasks May Include

• General tidying and “resetting” main spaces (kitchen, living areas, entryway)
• Laundry (wash, fold, put away) including bedding changes as needed
• Light housekeeping between professional cleans (we have a cleaner every other week) :

vacuuming, wiping surfaces, light bathroom touch-ups, floors as needed

• Simple meal prep and / or cooking family-friendly, healthy-ish meals (we have dietary preferences / restrictions and focus on whole foods)
• Baking simple snacks (muffins, lunchbox items)
• Restocking household essentials and pantry basics
• Occasional errands / grocery pick-up optional (if you drive)

A bit about our home

• I’m often home but working and in / out for appointments
• When my husband is in town, he may be working from home in his office
• We’re looking for someone comfortable working in a home where adults may be present but working

Location / Transit

We’re located near TELUS Spark Science Centre, and the nearest CTrain station is Max Bell. (Please share if you’ll be using transit.)

• Experienced with household support / management (paid or significant experience)
• Proactive, organized, and able to take initiative without needing constant direction
• Comfortable in the kitchen (nothing fancy)
• Comfortable with pets (we have a dog)
• Reliable, kind, and respectful of privacy
