JOB TITLE: ACCOUNT MANAGER (Bilingual)
LOCATION:
Montréal, Québec, Canada
SALARY RANGE:
$75,-85, + bonus structure
PLEASE NOTE:
A majority of this role is performed remotely and on customer sites, the ideal candidate can work remotely and has a valid license.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Drive new business development and expand existing accounts in the industrial food processing space.
  • Serve as the go-to advisor for clients, offering insights and tailored ingredient solutions.
  • Develop strategic account plans and deliver accurate sales forecasts.
  • Organize and lead customer meetings, product innovation sessions, and presentations.
  • Create compelling proposals and pricing strategies for prospective and current clients.
  • Resolve customer challenges quickly and escalate when necessary.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and training sessions.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution.

WHAT DO YOU BRING?
  • Required: Background in food manufacturing.
  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience in the food industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of food ingredients and ability to communicate value to processors.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Fluent in English and French; excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across Canada/US (approx. 25%).
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for growth.

VOS RESPONSABILITÉS
  • Développer de nouvelles opportunités d’affaires et accroître les comptes existants dans le secteur de la transformation alimentaire industrielle.
  • Agir à titre de conseiller(ère) de confiance auprès des clients en proposant des solutions d’ingrédients adaptées et stratégiques.
  • Élaborer des plans de comptes et fournir des prévisions de ventes fiables.
  • Organiser et animer des rencontres clients, des séances d’innovation produit et des présentations professionnelles.
  • Préparer des propositions commerciales et des stratégies de tarification convaincantes.
  • Résoudre efficacement les enjeux client et assurer un suivi rapide.
  • Représenter l’entreprise lors de salons professionnels, d’événements de l’industrie et de formations.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes marketing, opérations et chaîne d’approvisionnement pour assurer une exécution optimale.
PROFIL RECHERCHÉ
  • Exigence : expérience préalable en fabrication ou transformation alimentaire.
  • Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience en vente B2B dans l’industrie alimentaire.
  • Solide compréhension technique des ingrédients alimentaires et capacité de démontrer leur valeur aux transformateurs.
  • Diplôme universitaire pertinent ou expérience équivalente.
  • Bilinguisme parfait (français et anglais)
  • Maîtrise de Microsoft Office; connaissance des CRM (ex.: Salesforce) est un atout.
  • Permis de conduire valide et disponibilité pour voyager au Canada et aux États-Unis (environ 25 %).
  • Profil autonome, esprit entrepreneurial, orienté vers la croissance et les résultats.
