Pixomondo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced FX / CFX Artist to join our talented team in Montreal, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate closely with the VFX Supervisor, Animation Team, and other departments to create dynamic and visually stunning character effects for film and television projects.
• Design and create a wide variety of realistic visual effects and simulations, including cloth, hair, fur, muscle, skin, and other related effects.
• Ensure the integration of character effects seamlessly into the overall visual effects pipeline, while maintaining artistic and technical direction.
• Utilize industry‑standard software and tools such as Maya, Houdini and proprietary software to achieve the desired visual effects.
• Revise simulations based on client and supervisor feedback in a timely manner.
• Work in coordination with the Lighting team to ensure smooth integration of FX elements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
