Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Shift - Days - 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Location - Leduc

Wage - 23 - 25/hr.

Job Description

This role involves disassembling, repairing, maintaining, and assembling downhole tools, specifically mud motors.

The work can be very hands-on and involves working with various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble downhole tools and mud motors.
• Perform repair and maintenance tasks on tools.
• Wash, buff, and paint tool parts.
• Reassemble tools at the end of the process.
• Use basic hand and power tools, heating torch, hand grinder, stamper, and micrometers.
• Operate an overhead crane once trained.

Essential Skills

• 1 year of experience in oil and gas shop or machine shop.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Basic mathematical skills
• Basic computer experience, particularly with Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• GED or High School Diploma.
