Member Advisor Summer Student – MAC
Temporary Full-Time

Our Member Advisors play a vital role in supporting our members by providing friendly, knowledgeable service across our branches, digital channels, and now our Mobile Advice Centre (MAC) . As a summer student, you'll gain hands‑on experience in financial services, strengthen your communication and problem‑solving skills, and be part of a supportive team dedicated to helping members succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Be the first point of contact for our members—greeting them warmly and helping them with day‑to‑day banking needs.
- Respond to member inquiries by offering clear advice and guidance on a full range of financial products and services.
- Promote and support members with both cash and non‑cash products and services, identifying opportunities to help them achieve their financial goals.
- Utilize digital banking solutions to make banking easier, more efficient, and more convenient for members.
- Support our members by connecting them to the right Credit Union products and services that meet their needs.
- Travel within the region as required (up to 200 km), following Innovation’s Travel Practice Guidelines.
- Drive the Mobile Advice Centre (MAC) to assigned community locations throughout the summer.
- Provide full member support and operational service from the MAC, including setup, tear‑down, and active engagement with the community.

Minimum 1‑year full‑time attendance at a high school or post‑secondary institution and returning to an applicable education program on a full‑time basis for the Fall 2026 school term.Working toward an education program applicable to our organization such as Commerce, Business, Agribusiness, Finance, IT, HR, Marketing, Engineering, etc.A people‑person with excellent communication skills.Someone who values Accountability, Integrity, and Respect.Detail‑oriented and risk‑aware, contributing to the safeguarding of our company’s assets and reputation.Proficient in digital literacy, including (but not limited to) critical thinking, problem solving, and navigation using digital solutions.Comfortable using a variety of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Teams, Viva, Power Automate, Power BI).Possession of a valid driver’s license is required , as the role includes driving the Mobile Advice Centre (MAC) throughout the summer.
