Job description

As an Office Services Clerk you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency

Location : Calgary, AB (Onsite)

Salary : $22 / Hour

Duration : 6 months (Possibility of Extension)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Providing our internal / external clients with enhanced customer care from 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm, this includes responding to issues, concerns, providing information etc
  • Provide reception coverage answering phones, greeting external clients and providing support to our internal stakeholders
  • Check our business centre databases for requests and provide support for inbound and outbound mail, scanning and printing services
  • Assist in meeting room set-ups including moving tables, providing microphones and setting up catering as per staff requests.
  • Monitoring our space to ensure staff have an organized, clean and functional workplace.
  • Issue and maintain inventory of daily visitor pass-cards and updating the database if necessary
  • Provide a WOW customer service experience to our internal stakeholders
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds a must
  • Be a member of the local Health and Safety committee and assist in record keeping, floor inspections and other H&S tasks.
  • Occasional need to be flexible with hours to support the needs of our department
  • Assists with other functions of the Office Services team as needed
  • Qualifications

    Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • Relevant in office experience opening and closing an office with the ability to complete tasks with limited supervision
  • High degree of computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet search tools and other job-related databases
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (including strong spelling, drafting, editing, proofreading, punctuation and grammar skills)
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Exercises discretion when dealing with confidential data
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
