Test Engineer – hybrid

Markham, Ontario client has an immediate contract need for a Test Engineer who will execute black box test cases to validate basic functions of ADAS controllers.

• Mon-Friday. 8am-5pm. There is some flexibility for the start time.
• Hybrid schedule. Candidate is required to come to the office 3 times a week. Tuesday is a mandatory day, and the other two days are optional.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Automate test cases use engineering test methodologies.
• Maintain & improve documentation during and after testing
• Troubleshoot & investigate automated test and controller issues
• Ability to anticipate problems & issues and recommend solutions to problems
• Prepare test results and reports with the highest industry standard- Ability to modify calibration and/or test script to meet the validation requirement
• Ability to use and develop test script and automation
• Ability to use AI tools in testing activities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with tools like Python and test automation methodologies
• Experience with CAN/Ethernet communication protocols and test tools
• Experience with Calibration and/or Validation Development
• Experience in INCA/CANoe/ Vetor CANalyzer / Vspy
• Experience in a fast-moving environment and capable of meeting stringent deadlines
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform test automation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Aptitude for learning, professional development and enjoys being a team player
• Education: Associate’s degree in Engineering or Computer Engineering
