Job description

Job Description : Responsibilities :

Design, build, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
Connect to and transform data from various sources (e.g., Excel, SQL, APIs, SharePoint).
Analyze complex datasets to provide insights on business performance and trends.
Work with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and iterate on solutions.
Creation of several operational reports for the ExtraMural Program.
Automate data refreshes and optimize report performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Salesforce Architects, data analysts, and business units.
Document report logic, processes, and data source mappings.
Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and best practices.

Mandate Requirements :

The Department seeks a candidate that demonstrates the following mandatory requirements :

A University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Yes / No.

A minimum of 10 years of IM / IT experience 10 years.

Demonstrated experience in the IT field as a Developer / Analyst or related / similar role Five (5) years.

Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Power BI to develop dashboards and reports Three (3) years

Proposals that do not clearly demonstrate the capability to meet these mandatory requirements will be disqualified from further consideration.

Scored Requirements :

The Department seeks a candidate that demonstrates the following qualifications and experience :

Demonstrated experience with presenting information and insights through various tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Power BI Reports, and Dashboards. Three (3) years.

Demonstrated experience in gathering information and understanding data structures from various sources. i.e. Salesforce, SharePoint sites, MS Excel, SQL databases etc. Three (3) years.

Demonstrated experience in working closely with Stakeholders to translate requirements into data visualizations and analytics, staging the data and publishing dashboards via the Microsoft Power BI service. Three (3) years.

Demonstrated experience in implementing and documenting a data refresh process for Microsoft Power BI Dashboards and / or reports. Two (2) years.

List any courses, training or certifications achieved regarding use of Microsoft Power BI. Please provide course dates and list any Microsoft Power BI certifications achieved. Recent training (within last 5 years) on Power BI.

Provide example(s) of Microsoft Power BI reports or dashboard created during a previous engagement. Example(s) may be anonymized to preserve privacy of data. Provide One (1) Example minimum.
