Job Title: Order Desk Clerk Location: Toronto, ON
Job Type: Temporary, Full Time
Salary: $$ Responsibilities: - Assist all customers quickly and professionally providing exemplary customer service
- Key/process customer orders received via phone, email, fax or in person, providing customer follow up as required to ensure customer needs are met or exceeded
- Actively participate and engage in on-going product knowledge training sessions
- Ensure accurate billing and balance the daily transactions
- Ordering replenishment product as required
- Various clerical tasks
- Maintain merchandising and stock shelves
- General housekeeping
- Pick/fill orders as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: - Minimum – years of order desk experience working in the food/ manufacturing industry
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills, problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, flexible and highly motivated with a strong work ethic and effective time-management and organizational skills, multitasking
- Time management skills, able to prioritize, capable of working under pressure
- Professional appearance with a drive for creating an exceptional customer experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player with the ability to collaborate with other team members and maintain a positive work environment
- Microsoft Word & Excel
- Strong attention-to-detail
- Punctual and dependable
