Responsibilities

As the Production Manager, you will oversee and optimize all aspects of production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards. This hands-on leadership role requires a dynamic individual who is committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Leadership & Management : Provide hands-on leadership and direction to the production team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance excellence.
  • Production Oversight : Manage production processes across various departments, focusing on streamlining operations and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Problem-Solving & Process Improvement : Identify inefficiencies, resolve bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvements through lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work with other departments to ensure alignment and smooth production execution.
  • Metrics & Reporting : Develop and track key production KPIs to monitor performance and drive decision-making.
  • Compliance & Quality Control : Ensure compliance with aerospace and defense industry standards, including safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Additional Responsibilities :

  • Materials planning and control, including MRP, inventory control, and line of balance techniques.
  • Oversee manufacturing operations across various processes, such as thin film, circuit card assembly, hybrid circuit assembly, CNC machining, high-level integration, testing, and shipping.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and coaching to supervisors, team leaders, and shop floor personnel in best-in-class manufacturing practices.
  • Continuously assess and improve production management and controls to ensure customer satisfaction and employee wellbeing.
  • Qualifications

    Who is the perfect match for this position?

  • Proven experience as a Production Manager, ideally within the aerospace and defense sectors.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Strong hands-on management style with the ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in using data to drive decision-making and improvements.
  • Lean manufacturing expertise with a successful track record of applying it in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with AS9100D and ISO9001 and other aerospace and defense regulatory standards.
  • A proven ability to lead teams, manage production areas, and execute projects effectively.
