Position Details :

Position : Casual Patient Watch Security Guard

Site : Various Health Care Sites within GTA

Averaging Agreement : Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Hours : Hours may vary site to site (example Days, Nights, Rotating Shifts)

Payrate : $ 18.40 / hour

Posting Date : October 22nd, 2025

Internal Closing Date : October 29th, 2025

External Closing Date : November 05th, 2025

Key responsibilities :

• Provide continuous observation of assigned patients to ensure safety and prevent self-harm or injury.
• Monitor and report any unusual behavior, incidents, or safety concerns to clinical and security staff.
• Maintain a respectful and non-invasive presence while observing patients.
• Work closely with healthcare professionals, following facility protocols and directions.
• De-escalate situations calmly and appropriately using non-violent crisis intervention techniques.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
