Role : Senior BIG Data Engineer

Location : Ontario, Canada.

Description :

• 5 + years of experience in SCALA, Java, Hive, Biga Data, SPAK, HDFS, Unix shell scripting, SQL, snowflake implementation
• Write SQL queries to extract data from the data warehouse - hands on experience
• Create data definitions for new database files or alterations made to the already existing ones for analysis purposes
• Apply statistical analysis methods for compliance data, research and analysis purposes
• Keep track of the trends and correlational patterns among complex data sets
• Must have good communication and Analytics skills, understanding of technical architectures
• Experience in AML / Fraud business area will be advantage
