Brandt is currently seeking a 310T Truck & Coach Technician for our Ayr Peterbilt location. This position is responsible for the diagnostics, repair and maintenance of trucks, trailers, buses, and coaches in a shop environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect, evaluate, diagnose, and repair on road equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Assemble and disassemble components efficiently using approved methods, tools, and secondary equipment
- Perform accurate diagnostics using hand tools, power tools, specialized instruments, and computer based systems
- Road test equipment and confirm repairs meet Brandt and manufacturer standards
- Complete detailed, accurate work orders documenting machine details, repairs completed, and time spent
- Proactively identify job hazards and ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry standards
- Use digital systems to document inspections, maintenance, and diagnostic results
- Partner with equipment engineers to support warranty diagnostics and repair requirements
- Road test equipment and verify repairs as required
- Other duties as required

Required Skills
- Must have the ability to communicate and work effectively with equipment engineers, the service team, and branch personnel
- Outstanding knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems
- Proven computer/ technical aptitude and knowledge for diagnostics and calibration work
- Demonstrated diagnostic skills to understand mechanical and technical equipment repair needs
- Strong time-management skills to perform effectively under pressure
- Strong communication skills, showing an appreciation of customer needs
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- A commitment to high quality customer service
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Required Experience
- Previous hands on experience in a truck and coach service environment
- Journeyperson Truck & Coach Technician certification (preferred or equivalent trade)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with electrical diagnostics and aftertreatment systems considered an asset
- A strong commitment to customer service, quality workmanship, and service excellence
