- Minimum 8 years of utility-specific protection, control, SCADA and metering experience. Experience executing EPCM projects is considered an asset
- Electrical Engineering Degree from a recognized university along with the ability to register as a Professional Engineer in Canada and / or the United States
- 3-4 years of experience in performing protection coordination studies and relay settings for high voltage utility transmission systems is considered an asset
- Proven working experience of relay setting software such as ASPEN, CAPE, EasyPower, SKM Power Tools as well as SEL and GE relay programming software
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Proven field experience with outage planning, construction sequencing and commissioning is considered an asset
- Familiarity with utility protection and control maintenance and operational practices is considered an asset
