Responsibilities

  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Train staff
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation
  • Provide customer service
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold
  • Manage staff and assign duties
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors\' operations on sales
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
  • Recruit, hire and supervise staff and / or volunteers
  • Direct and control daily operations
