Sr. Financial Analyst / Oracle EPM (hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our client's team in Ottawa, Ontario. In this role, you will provide advanced financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making across clinical and non-clinical programs. You will play a key role in managing budgeting processes, financial systems, and corporate reporting while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

Responsibilities :

• Develop, update, and monitor annual budgets to align with organizational goals and priorities.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses to support decision-making by leadership and stakeholders.
• Oversee corporate financial reporting processes, including trial balances and other essential documents.
• Perform variance analyses and provide actionable insights to address financial discrepancies.
• Manage Oracle EPM and related financial systems, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to address specific inquiries or strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with various teams to streamline financial planning and reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies during reporting and analysis.
• Utilize data mining techniques and reporting tools to enhance financial insights.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and system upgrades to improve efficiency.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.
• Proficiency in Oracle EPM and Hyperion Financial Reporting tools.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, variance analysis, and corporate financial reporting.
• Familiarity with data mining techniques and advanced reporting software such as Crystal Reports.
• Experience with CRM platforms and business systems integration.
• Ability to perform ad-hoc financial analysis and deliver actionable insights.
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of financial management practices and planning tools.

This role is with a large organisation with opportunity to grow. Furthermore, this is a Hybrid role with one day onsite.
