Intermediate Structural Engineer - Ottawa OR GTA

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of our Building Engineering team, your duties will include, but are not limited to :

• Preparing engineering service proposals for senior review;
• Performing field inspection and review for various construction projects;
• Liaising with clients, government and / or regulatory bodies as well as contractors;
• Leading the engineering design and managing the project team, schedule and budget on a variety of projects;
• Providing technical direction and peer review for junior team members;
• Designing and stamping medium to complex designs;
• Preparing specifications and drawings for building permit and tender;
• Maintaining a technical advisory role for clients throughout the project term;
• Overseeing and providing construction review services;
• Preparing technical specifications and reports;
• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects;
• Work in compliance with all Health & Safety rules and regulations;
• Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
