Enterprise Compute Portfolio Team – Project / Program Manager
- Success in this role requires a strong understanding of technology, balanced with acute business acumen and soft skills needed to work effectively both up and down the organization.
- This role will report to the Portfolio Lead and will require interaction with distributed technology teams, stakeholders, and resources globally with a strong supporting team in Montreal and New York.
You will :
Take responsibility for management of specific projects within the Project portfolio.Liaise with colleagues in Enterprise compute teams and business application teams, proactively dealing with delivery risks and issues.Provide updates on progress through a range of materials from Steering Committee materials to Senior Management briefings to quarterly achievement packs.Work with the Program Manager to map out areas of focus and future projects.Define and track the Key Performance Indicators for products (KPIs).Liaise with teams working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.You have :
Minimum years of experience.Experience working in a technology department, with project delivery responsibilities.Strong communication skills : demonstrating the ability to tailor complex information for a range of audiences.Good understanding of and experience with software development methodologies such as Agile, Kanban & DevOps.Strong Data Analysis skills.Strong documentation and presentation skills.Project Management skills : formal qualifications are not required; we’d rather hear about your real-world experience and the responsibilities you took on.Experience running through a full project lifecycle from inception to completion.Ability to time manage across multiple project streams.A strong team focus.Strong collaboration skills, with a clear team focus and ability to build relationships across the global team.Knowledge of IT infrastructure and database concepts.You might also have :
Direct experience with infrastructure / migration / adoption projects.If you’ve worked in an Infrastructure environment before, that’s useful, but absolutely not essential. The core skills are very transferrable, and we’d love to teach you about our area.
