Health and Safety Officer

What You’ll Do

• Promote and enforce site safety policies, procedures, and compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and toolbox talks.
• Investigate and document incidents, near-misses, and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed safety records and reporting.
• Provide coaching and training to staff and subcontractors on safe work practices.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, project managers, and senior leadership to ensure a culture of safety is upheld across all projects.
