Field Service Engineer (Diagnostic Imaging)

Our client is a leader in medical imaging solutions and is seeking a Field Service Technician / Engineer to join their team in Edmonton, AB. This is a permanent position reporting to the Regional Service Manager, responsible for the repair, maintenance, calibration, and installation of diagnostic imaging systems in hospitals and clinics. This role ensures reliable equipment performance, exceptional customer support, and compliance with safety and performance standards. It requires a proactive service approach, technical expertise in diagnostic imaging, and strong communication skills to meet the expectations of healthcare clients. QUALIFICATIONS - Field Service Engineer - Diagnostic Imaging (Edmonton)

• 2+ years of experience maintaining diagnostic imaging equipment (hospital / medical setting preferred)
• College or university education in electronics, biomedical engineering, electromechanics, or related field
• Knowledge of modalities such as radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, MRI, and nuclear medicine
• Familiarity with PACS, SIR, and DICOM standards an asset
• Experience with X-ray, breast imaging, and ultrasound equipment an asset
• Working knowledge of computer systems, Windows OS, and networks preferred
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Excellent English communication skills (French / English bilingualism an asset)
