Moosehead Breweries Limited is Canada's last‑major brewer still owned by Canadians. Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, the company has been operated by the Oland family since 1867.

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our packaging maintenance team and ensure strong performance in Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity, and People. This role oversees both electrical and mechanical functions and reports to the Maintenance Superintendent.

Job Description

• Supervise packaging maintenance teams (Electrical and Mechanical).
• Plan, prioritize, and assign daily maintenance work with minimal supervision.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and management through meetings, email, shift handovers, and CMMS documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with all plant safety policies (LOTO, risk assessments, PPE, confined space, hot work permits, etc.).
• Support inventory control, parts management, payroll tasks, and preparation of weekly reports.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and OEM documentation.
• Ability to manage equipment service agreements.

Job Qualifications

• Trade certification or Post‑Secondary Education in the electrical or mechanical field.
• 3 years’ experience planning and executing repairs on industrial equipment.
• Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving company goals by focusing on Safety, Quality and Productivity through improvements and standardization of jobs.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CMMS systems for work orders, PMs, inspections, and parts management.
• Experience with beverage equipment (fillers, packers, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, etc.) is considered an asset.
