Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nanaimo, BC / Duncan / Port Alberni, for an Independent Adjuster. The individual in this role will manage property and liability claims with a focus on timely and accurate resolution. Key responsibilities include investigating claims, determining coverage, estimating losses, negotiating settlements, and providing detailed documentation. The Independent Adjuster will work closely with claimants, insurers, and other stakeholders to uphold the company’s standards of customer service and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Preferably CIP / Level 2 adjuster with experience
• Claims investigation, assessment, and resolution skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and negotiations
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple claims and deadlines effectively
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and reporting
• Proficiency with claims management software and standard computing tools
• Knowledge of property and liability insurance policies and procedures
• License as an Independent Adjuster in British Columbia or eligibility to obtain one
• Ability to work with a professional, client-focused approach
