Job Summary
The Project Manager – Compliance (Accessibility) supports enterprise initiatives related to evolving Ontario accessibility and digital compliance standards . This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking compliance-driven projects to ensure alignment with AODA , WCAG, and related regulatory requirements. Working closely with compliance, risk, legal, digital, and technology teams, the Project Manager translates regulatory obligations into structured, executable project plans and embeds accessibility requirements into enterprise delivery and governance frameworks. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of compliance initiatives related to Ontario accessibility standards , including AODA and associated regulations.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and executive-level status reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across compliance, risk, legal, digital, IT, and business teams.
- Track regulatory obligations, remediation activities, and deliverables required for audits and attestations.
- Support accessibility assessments, gap analyses, and remediation planning across digital and operational assets.
- Ensure accessibility and compliance requirements are embedded into project governance, SDLC, and delivery processes .
- Prepare senior-level dashboards, reporting, and materials for executive and regulatory audiences.
- Manage third-party vendors or consultants supporting accessibility or compliance initiatives, as required.
Required Qualifications Required Skills
years of experience delivering compliance, regulatory, or risk-focused projects as a Project Manager.Direct experience with Ontario accessibility legislation (AODA) and / or WCAG standards .Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and audit-driven delivery within regulated environments.Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.Strong documentation, governance, and communication skills.Experience using enterprise project management and collaboration tools (, MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint ).Preferred / Nice to Have
Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries.Familiarity with digital accessibility testing, remediation workflows, or accessibility governance models.Experience supporting regulatory reviews, internal audits, or enterprise compliance attestations.PMP, Prince, or Agile certification.Additional Information
