Finance and Accounting Consultant

The Opportunity :

Our client is a leader in customized food solutions, and they are seeking a Finance and Accounting Consultant to support key financial operations during a transitional period. This role involves managing month-end processes, variance analysis, audit preparation, and assisting with an ERP migration.

Key Responsibilities :

• Upload and consolidate financial results for head office reporting
• Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Analyze variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts, including detailed commentary
• Perform expense analysis to uncover key trends and issues
• Supply financial data and documentation to auditors for the year-end audit (Dec 31)
• Conduct reconciliations for balance sheets, bank accounts, and inventory
• Assist in transitioning Quebec operations to Syspro ERP (Q2 timeline)
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports for private equity stakeholders
