Job Description

FLINT is seeking a Maintenance Planner with a minimum of 2 years’ industrial planning experience for a permanent position in Conklin/Christina Lake, Alberta starting March 17, 2026. In this position, you will enjoy a 7 Days In & 7 Days Out schedule, 12-hour workdays, camp accommodation, $300 per week travel pay, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

What would you be doing?

  • Collaborate with Site Managers and project teams to develop, monitor, and analyze maintenance schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance work scopes, outages, and shutdown activities.
  • Prepare detailed job plans including labour, materials, equipment, and sequencing requirements.
  • Coordinate outside services and ensure proper documentation and approvals are in place.
  • Maintain and update the master maintenance schedule.
  • Identify schedule risks and propose practical mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

  • Strong project planning and scheduling expertise, with proficiency in MS Projects and/or Primavera software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, superb organizational skills, and the ability to interpret regulations, policies, and specifications.
  • Safe and productive work ethic, with experience reading drawings and applying technical knowledge.
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent training/experience in a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of industrial scheduling experience and familiarity with computer-based scheduling software.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety-sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
